About the Repository of Croatian standards (HRN4You)

The Repository of Croatian standards is a digital collection of Croatian normative documents developed within the standards development process in the Croatian Standards Institute (HZN). Documents available in the digital Repository are Croatian standards (HRN), Croatian technical specifications (HRS), Croatian technical reports (HRI), Croatian Guides (HRU), etc. Registered users have easy access to full texts of both valid and withdrawn Croatian normative documents.

Copyright

HZN’s publications in the Repository are not publicly available and are protected by copyright. They are stored in the Repository as DRM protected PDF files with read-only access. No part of any available PDF file shall be processed or copied in any form or in any way without the written permission of HZN.

Copyright and exploitation rights to normative documents are reserved to the Croatian Standards Institute, the address of which is listed below.

Access rights to the Repository and user obligations

Access to the Repository is granted to authorised users who have previously registered. A user can access the Repository only after successful activation, which includes verification of the user by HZN, about which the user will be notified by e-mail. User authorisation is done by username and password. Access data and the corresponding instructions will be sent to the user in a verification e-mail. An authorised user may access, search and view normative documents but cannot save or print them. Repository data are updated periodically and the user is solely responsible for the interpretation and use thereof. An authorised user can access the Repository from different computers and platforms.

Users are not allowed to disseminate user data to third persons for the purpose of unauthorised access to normative documents. The system continuously monitors and records the use of the Repository by the user. If the HZN suspects unauthorised use of access data or data available in the Repository or infringement of copyright to standards, measures will be taken to revoke the right of access to the Repository.
